February 13, 2019 - In the first installment of our User Group session called "Ask us Anything" our product experts Keith Fenech and Dan Barrett did a short walk-through of our recently released Client Profile Reporting and addressed some common use cases on how you can ask and answer real life questions around data portability and export, drilling down into users by ClientID, and simple GDPR requests.  Then they opened to floor up to questions from our customers for a Q&A.

  • Question #1: What exactly is the difference between "Client ID" and "Revulytics Machine ID", wouldn’t they just be the same thing?
  • Question #2: Do I know anything about users who opt out? What data, if any, do I see on users that have opted out of data collection in my application?
  • Question #3: How can I identify customers? Can I collect the company name or email address in Usage Intelligence?
  • Question #4: If I want to use the API to export all client data every month, are there any monthly limits to the amount of data I can pull out?
  • Question #5: How does Usage Intelligence determine who is a New, Active or Lost user?
